WELLINGTON'S crucial away game against Cadbury Heath in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League today (Sat) was called off because of a frost-bound pitch.

It means another match is added to Wellington's pile-up of fixtures which will result in a number of midweek games.

Wellington are due to play a Les Phillips Cup third round tie at Clevedon on Wednesday and the forecast is for milder weather.

Wellington Reserves' home game against Beer Albion today was also postponed because of the cold conditions following a 10.30a.m. inspection.
