WELLINGTON will be without defender Tom Stone for this afternoon's (Sat) home game against Ashton & Backwell United in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League (3p.m.).

Stone, who has been outstanding for Wellington, is unavailable and joint manager Alex Pope said: "Tom has certainly been one of the reasons why we have been playing so well in recent weeks.

"We will be making it very difficult against Ashton and looking to reverse the result against them last month (4-0)."

Wellington will be looking to stretch their unbeaten run to five matches, having collected ten points from their last four games. This has enabled to pull away from the bottom teams in the division.

Meanwhile Wellington Reserves, unbeaten in their last ten matches, play away to top of the table Upottery in the first division of the Devon & Exeter League.

Wellington A are away to Storgursy in the Premier Division of the Britannia Lanes Taunton Saturday League.

Wellington Ladies are away to Bath City on Sunday in the first division of the Somerset Women's League, while new champions Wellington Wildcats are home to Sydenham Rangers in Division Two South (2p.m.).
