WELLINGTON remain third from bottom in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League after losing away to leaders Saltash United yesterday afternoon (Sat).

It was their second successive 4-0 away loss in four days, having gone down to Ashton & Backwell United in midweek.

Three of United's goals came after the visitors had been reduced to ten men following the dismissal of Alex Cherry in the 62nd minute.

Substitute Glen Wright went closest to scoring for Wellington when he headed against the crossbar in the 71st minute.

Wellington, who trailed 1-0 at half time, have another tough match on Wednesday when they play at home to fifth-placed Barnstaple Town (7.45p.m.).
