WELLINGTON’S football manager Clive Jones says he will make a decision over his future with the Toolstation League club after Easter.

Jones, 53, who steered Wellington into the Premier Division last season, plans to sit down shortly with chairman Mike Hall and vice-chairman Graham Aspin to discuss next season.

“There are some things I need to talk to them about,” said Jones who has been with Wellington for three seasons. “I know there are people who want me to stay but I have to be sure it is in my interests and the interest of the club.

“I would like to do things different next season and I’m not sure that I will be able to do this.”

Wellington will be back in action on Good Friday when they play neighbours Bridgwater Town who have been one of the in-form sides of this year, with the game kicking off at 1 p.m.

The teams have already played each other twice this season, once in a cup competition, and the score is 1-1.

Hemyock are away to 100 per cent Elmore Reserves in Division Five of the Devon and Exeter League tonight, while Wellington Reserves are home to Chagford in Division One on Saturday.

Wellington’s first team play away to Cadbury Heath on Easter Monday while Wellington Thirds also play away to Cheddon Fitzpaine in Division Six in the Devon and Exeter League.
