Wellington, who played at Frome in the Somerset Premier Cup on Tuesday night, face ANOTHER away match in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League tomorrow.

They travel to bottom side Bitton.

They were also due to play away to Ilfracombe Town next Tuesday but this game has been postponed because the North Devon Club have a pronlem with their floodlights.

Wellington go into tomorrow’s game having already played ten away matches so far this season.

Having been unlucky to lose 2-1 at home to Clevedon Town in a league game last Saturday, Wellington will be looking to collect all three points against Bitton, who have not won a game yet this season.

Normally Bitton expect to be a mid table side, but have managed only one point in ten matches this season.

Wellington put up a spirited fight before losing 3-2 away to Southern Leaguers Frome Town in the first round of the Premier Cup on Tuesday. Wellington made a disastrous start, going 1-0 down in just 22 seconds.

Wellington were then under pressure for most of the first half, but equalised early in the second period from the penalty spot through Sam Towler after Joe Wragg was brought down. From regained the lead but Wragg levelled again from a cross by Nathaniel Groom.

However Frome won the game 15 minutes from the end after goalkeeper Harley Wilkinson saved a shot but Frome pounced to score from the loose ball.

Wellington Reserves, who went down 3-0 to University of Exeter 3rds in the first division of the Devon And Exeter League on the same night, don’t play tomorrow. Wellington A are away to Redgate in the Britannia Lanes Taunton Saturday League.
