WELLINGTON will be looking to bounce back after two successive defeats when they play at home to Minehead in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier Cricket League on Saturday.

Wellington have slipped from third to sixth in the table in the past fortnight and another loss would drag them into the relegation zone.

Arron Campbell’s boys have already lost to Minehead this season, going down by six wickets on the Seasiders’ ground on the opening day.

But Wellington have improved since then, although they have begun to falter and need to get back on the winning trail.

Wellington 2nd XI, lying seventh in Division Five of the Monmouth Scientific League, play away to Cranmore who are just below them.

West Somerset League first division leaders Wiveliscombe, who were without a match last weekend, are back in action this Saturday when they play away to North Curry who are lying eighth.

Title rivals West Monkton are away to Bishops Hull while reigning champions Holford entertain Bagborough.

In the second division, Sampford Arundel play away to table-topping Brompton Ralph and will have to win if they are going to get back into the promotion race.
