WELLINGTON fought back from 2-0 down at half time to gain a dramatic 2-2 home draw with highflyers Shepton Mallet in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League yesterday (Sat).

Callum Gould and Harley Wilkinson scored in the 17th and 19th minutes to earn Shepton a 2-0 lead at the interval.

But Wellington, playing down the slope in the second half, pulled a goal back through a fine goal by Ryan Brereton after 57 minutes. 

And during a hectic finish, Miles Quick struck an equaliser five minutes into injury time to cap a splendid second-half for the home side.

Wellington have another league game on Tuesday - away to Ashton & Backwell United.
