WELLINGTON have assembled a management team of four to take charge of the side for Saturday’s game at Wells in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League.

They are former boss Mike Hawes, Georgia Purdey, manager of Wellington Wildcats, and Joe Conway, who has managed the Reserves and Under 18s, who will be supported by team captain Josh Baker.

The first team had been run until recently by Mike Hall, who surprisingly stepped down as chairman earlier this month, because of the ‘demands of the role.’ He took over at the beginning of the season after Tornado Bello quit. He only joined the club in the close season.

Wellington, who have lost all four of their league matches, have still to appoint a new chairman.
