WELLINGTON will be looking to avoid another big defeat by Buckland Athletic when the sides meet again in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western League at The Carly Press Ground this evening (Wed, 7.45p.m.).

Managerless Wellington crashed 10-1 away to Buckland in early August - one of several heavy losses this season.

They are bottom of the Premier Division, having lost all six matches - and have a goals deficit of minus 35.

The same interim management team of Georgia Purdy, Joe Conway and Mike Hawes, supported by skipper Josh Baker, will be in place for tonight’s game.

Wellington are also without a chairman following the resignation of Mike Hall who stepped down last month.
