WELLINGTON will be looking to pull off an upset when they play away to Taunton Town in the Somerset Premier Cup tomorrow (Wed, 7.45p.m.).
Taunton play in Premier South of the Southern League and are currently 11th in the table, having gained an impressive 4-0 away win over Hanwell Town over the weekend. They are former winners of the trophy.
Wellington play in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western League and also pulled off a good win on Saturday, beating St Blazey 5-2 at home.
It was manager Richard Cherry’s first match back in charge after returning to the club as manager, having stepped down not long before the season got underway.
Wellington, who have won their last four matches, have nothing to lose in tomorrow’s game and much will depend on what side Taunton will field.
