WELLINGTON play their second pre-season football friendly under new boss Tornado Bello when they visit neighbours Bishops Lydeard tomorrow evening (July 16, 7.30p.m.).

Player-manager Bello, who has taken over from Richard Cherry who stepped down at the end of last season, will be hoping for a better performance following the 5-0 loss away to Tiverton side Elmore in their first warm-up game.

Wellington are away to new Southern League side Barnstaple Town in another friendly next Tuesday, July 21.

Barnstaple were winners of the Premier Division in the Jewson Western League last season, finishing one point ahead Torpoint Athletic.

Wellington’s opening game in the Jewson League is away to Bovey Tracey on Saturday, July 25.
