WELLINGTON Football Club will be carrying out interviews for the vacant manager's job 'shortly.'
Wellington are looking to replace Richard Cherry who stepped down recently.
Wellington's vice-chairman Graham Aspin said today: "We've have had applicants for the position and will be interviewing shortly."
Meanwhile, Wellington will be without interim manager Tim Legg for their FA Cup-tie away to Southern League Division One South outfit Bideford tomorrow (Sat). Legg is understood to have had a prior commitment before his temporary appointment.
It is believed that chairman Mike Hall will take charge of the Wellington side.
Wellington will also be fielding a team for a friendly at Minehead tomorrow (3p.m.). The seasiders play in the first division of the Uhlsport Somerset County League and have already played a number of pre-season games. Minehead kick off their season away to Winscombe next Saturday, August 9.
