LOCAL darts star Ryan Searle will play German No 1 Martin Schindler in the third round of the World Championships at Alexandra Palace, London, on Sunday, December 28.

The match starts at 12.30p.m. and will be the best of seven sets.

Searle has not dropped a set in winning his opening two matches 3-0 and is guaranteed prizemoney of £35,000 even if he loses against Schineller.

World No 1 Luke Littler heads a star-studded field going into the third round alongside the second-seed Luke Humphries - the 2024 champion.

The winner will take home a cheque for £1 million.
