THE Green Keepers Revenge Trophy was played at Oake Manor Golf Club on Sunday when the green keepers set up a challenging course and added obstacles to some of the greens to make putting difficult.

The winning team were Shane Bordier, John Byrne, Helen White and Paul Rich with 86 points. In second place with 84 points were Matt Woodgate, Rupert Potter, Matt Croker and Jo Jewell, and third were Mike How, Liz How, Ian Loader and Jill Loader with 79 points.

Tom Horsey had the best individual score of 37 points, Antony Birtwhistle was second with 35 points and Mark Wooliscroft came third, also with 35 points.

Charlotte Bolton scored 39 points to win Division One of the Ladies Tuesday Stableford Competition. Ros Wills was second, also with 39 points, Pam Akers third with 37 points and Karen Potter was fourth, also with 37 points.

Helen White won Division Two, scoring 40 points – the best of the day. Mary Wood came second with 38 points, Tamsin St George was third with 36 points and Judy McKellar fourth with 35 points.

The midweek competition was a three-ball bowmaker, best two scores to count, for the Fred Land Trophy. The winners with 87 points were Gareth Morgan, Alan Markham and Paul Hadley. In second, also with 87 points, were Chris Yeates, Rob Urmann and Ollie Beynon while Ian Blackwell, Will Parkman and Richard Goodman were third with 86 points.
