ALL Blacks' hopes of retaining the Wellington Ladies Skittles League's KO Cup were dashed when they crashed to Jolly Blues in the semi-finals on Monday night.

Shellie Jarman top scored for the Blues who won by 39 pins to secure their place in the final against Land Girls who triumphed by 42 pins against Wobbly Wheels with Tina Coles, one of the top skittlers in the league for years, hitting 66.

In the league, Water Babies have a three-point lead at the top after winning a back match against Geronimo by 20 pins.

Split Pins are still in the mix after beating Muppets by nine pins while LOA Spare won only their second game of the winter by beating Wanderers by 11 pins.
