RESERVISTS, the current holders, and Holywell Lake will clash in the final of Wellington Ex-Services Skittles League’s Payne Cup.

The final brings together the two top teams in the Gerald Thorne Championship, with only one point separating the teams.

Both advanced to the final with convincing victories. Reservists won by 51 pins against Queens Legs while the Lakers crushed Cottage Pies by 44 pins.

The date and venue for the final has still to be decided and promises to be a great game.
