WELLINGTON'S new boss Richard Cherry has arranged six pre-season football friendlies, all away.

They are: June 30 Exeter City or Torquay United Under 18s; July 8 Bovey Tracey; July 11 Axminister Town; July 14 Bishops Lydeard; July 18 Brislington; July 24 Cheddar (at Worle Astro).

Meanwhile Wellington's players will be reporting back for pre-season training on Wednesday, June 21.

Cherry has taken over from joint managers Tim Legg and Alex Pope who both stepped down at the end of the season.

Wellington are also looking for someone to replace Reserve team manager Nick Buttle who has also quit. The closing date for applying for his job is next Monday, June 5.

Warren Toth will continue to manage Wellington A who play in the Taunton Saturday League.
