MUTTS Nutts have won the Wellington Winter Pool League after an exciting end to the title race.
They ended the season with a 9-6 victory over Snipers with a hat trick from Ed Williams.
It meant they finished two points clear of rivals Rattled Blacks who also won their last match 9-6, beating Here for the Beer with captain Andy Dart winning all his games in securing the runners-up spot.
SS Squad performed the comeback of the season, thrashing Rows Rebels 14-1 to take third position in the league on equal points, but five frames down.
Three from 3 for Matt Bell saw Changing Lanes beat Pocket Rockets 11-4, while Legends won their last five frames to gain a 10-5 victory with Dave a Darch winning all his games in the success against Old Blues.
Brothers Bailey, Liam and Ethan Deville all knocked in hat tricks giving The Jets a 13-2 win against Two Tees who finished bottom of the table, 53 points adrift of the next placed team Old Blues.

League finals night takes place at The Victoria on Thursday, 2nd April. Kicking off the evening will be the Eric Tottle singles between Matt Bell and Lee Richard’s and the Microcheck shield between Dave Darch and Ryan Redwood.
Following these games the team final between Legends and Rattled Blacks and the chairman’s Cup between Snipers and Rows Rebels will take place.
