WELLINGTON coach Allyn Chetland believes it may not be until November before rugby can start at grassroots level.

“I think we can definitely rule out September and October looks doubtful, so that leaves November,” he said. “However, the situation seems to change every week. At the moment rugby seems to have taken a back seat.”

Pre-season training began for the players at the Athletic Ground on Wednesday following Government guidelines.
