WELLINGTON father and son motorcycle racing duo Shaun and Bradley Richman are preparing for the season ahead after returning from testing both abroad and in the UK, writes Kerry Rawson.

Their recent week in Spain at Guadix had them both smiling the most though with them both saying it was a lovely track with a bit of everything and weather was great too.

Dad Shaun will take a bit of a back seat this year and only compete in a few rounds so he and his family can concentrate on developing Bradley’s racing during only his second full season with North Glos Road Racing.

Bradley will be competing on a completely new motorcycle this season - a 400cc which he is looking forward to and cannot wait to be competing in the formula 400, open 500 and newcomers races this season so he’s going to be busy.

But the S.R Scaffolding Services, C.E Roofing, Brendon Roofing and Hel Performance sponsored rider is relishing the challenge and looks forward to more trophies to add to his collection last year from all three classes, especially as he will be on a much more competitive bike.  So the countdown is now on to round 1 and 2 at Brands Hatch on the March 17/18.
