CHAMPIONS Jolly Blues kept up the pressure at the top of the Wellington Ladies Skittles League after they gained a seven-pin away victory over Water Babies.

Shelly Jarman knocked 51 for the Blues who are now only two points behind leaders Land Girls - and they also have a crucial game in hand.

Former champions All Blacks beat Muppets by 37 pins while LOA Spare beat Wobbly Pins by 51 pins in the only other game played.

Land Girls and Split Pins, who are in joint second place two points adrift of the leaders, did not play because their games were postponed.
