MIKEY Taylor won two awards at Wellington Rugby Club's presentation night at the Athletic Field.

He was named Under 18 Players' Player of the Year and Captain's Shield winner. The Under 18s joined their seniors for presentations night on Friday.

Under 18 award winners at the dinner included: Young Player of the Year Johnny Clist; Best Newcomer Ashton Cottrell; Most Improved Player Will Cooke; Colt most likely to be an Asset to the Club Lucas Jenkins; Players Player of the Year Mikey Taylor; Colt of the Year Blake Lowman; Captain's Shield Mikey Taylor; Most Valued Squad Member Lisa Jenkins.
