LAND Girls have a one-point lead at the top of the Wellington Ladies Skittles League after beating Muppets by 16 pins with Tina Coles leading the way with 53.

Split Pins are second after winning by 14 pins against champions All Blacks who have left themselves too much to do to retain their title.

With just three games left to play for most sides, the fight is hotting up with four points separating the top four teams.
