SOMERSET'S Jack Leach is heading back home after being ruled out of the three remaining matches in the Test series against India.

The left arm spinner, who is has played in 36 Tests in which he has taken 126 wickets, sustained an injury to his left knee during the first match in Hyderabad.

England won the first game while India claimed the second to level the five match series. The third Test starts on Thursday in Rajkot.

The 32 year old local lad, a firm favourite with Cidermen fans, has suffered several setbacks during his career and one can only hope that Jack will be fit in time for the start of the Somerset season in April.
