WELLINGTON 'S season will be slightly longer in a bid to complete their fixtures in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League.

They were due to play Ilfracombe Town on the Playing Field last night (Wed) but the match was postponed because of rain and high winds.

Now, with all parties in agreement, they will play the North Devon side at home on Thursday, April 27 with a 6.45p.m. kick off because there will be no floodlights.

Wellington were due to finish their season with a match against Helston at Buckland on Tuesday, April 25.

"I think it is the worst season I can remember," said Wellington secretary Jeff Brown. "I think it is the sign of things to come. Putting the fixtures together this season has been a nightmare."
