ALTHOUGH it's early days, Wellington will be looking to step up the pressure at the top of the Somerset Division in the West of England Premier Cricket League when they play at home to fourth-placed Frome today (Sat).

The home side are five points behind the leaders Wembdon despite winning against the top team last weekend.

Star of the show at Wembdon was Sri Lankan Sandaken Pathirana who took 4-18 - his second four-wicket haul in eight days - as Wembdon were bowled out for 195 and then hit 53 to top score for the visitors.

The result was in doubt until late in the game when Wellington's ninth-wicket pair Ed Hirst (11) and Andy Hurry (12) shared in an unbroken match-winning stand.
