WELLINGTON play at home to North Petherton in the first round proper of the Blackdown Financial IFA Baker Cup cricket competition this evening (Mon).

Wellington, who won the Shield Competition last season, and Petherton both play in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier League.

However, while Wellington are in excellent form and top the table, Petherton have been struggling although they won their first match over the weekend.

First round draw: Taunton Deane A v Taunton St Andrews A, Wellington v North Petherton, Taunton B v North Perrott, Brompton Ralph v Taunton St Andrews B, Bridgwater v Chard, Taunton A v Wembdon, Trull v Taunton Deane B, Ilminster v Yeovil.

Meanwhile Wellington, facing four first team matches in three days, pulled out of yesterday's two T20 games at the Convent Field.
