WEATHER permitting, Wellington will be looking to pull off a surprise when they play at home to Weston super Mare in the Somerset Cup tomorrow (Sat, 3p.m.).

Graham Dawe's side won their opening match in the five-team group by beating Taunton Wanderers 38-12 last weekend - also at the Athletic Ground.

However, Weston play in Regional One South West, one division above Wellington, but have not enjoyed a good season, finishing tenth from bottom with only eight wins in 22 matches. They ended their season with a 26-22 away win over Brixham but lost heavily 68-14 the previous weekend at Exmouth.

Wellington finished fifth in Regional Two South West, ending their season with an impressive home victory over Sidmouth in front of their own supporters.
