WELLINGTON will be chasing their fourth successive win in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier League when they play away to Taunton St Andrews 2nd XI today (Sat).

Wellington beat Frome by 187 runs at home last weekend and remain third in the table which is headed by Wembdon who lost to Aaron Campbell’s boys recently.

Wellington scored nearly 400 runs in beating Frome with Sri Lankan Sandaken Pathirana and Alex Sparks both scoring centuries. Frome were bowled out for 198.

Wiveliscombe, leaders of Division Three in the Somerset League, are away to Yeovil in a top of the table clash with only three points separating the teams.

Wellington 2nd XI, equally impressive as the first team in winning by seven wickets at North Curry last weekend, are home today against Taunton Indian in Division Four.

In the first division of the West Somerset League, Holford are home to first division leaders Kilve while Lydeard St Lawrence entertain Brompton Ralph.

In Division Two, leaders Ashbrittle are away to Huish Champflower while Wiveliscombe’s second string entertain Roadwater.
