WELLINGTON are now the only side capable of preventing Torpoint Athletic winning the Premier Division title in the Jewson Western Football League.

The sides play each other at The Mill in Cornwall tomorrow evening (Tues) with Torpoint needing to win the game to finish above the current leaders Barnstaple Town.

A draw would mean the North Devon side winning the championship on goal difference.

Wellington lost 3-0 at home to Torpoint when the sides played each other in the league early in October.

Wellington are down in 15th place in the division, but won 1-0 at St Blazey on Saturday despite fielding an injury-hit side.

The first of the play-offs take place on Saturday when Paulton Rovers play at home to Clevedon Town who have had six points deducted.
