SUBJECT to a pitch inspection, Wellington's home game against Yeovil in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier Cricket League today goes ahead (12.30p.m.).

"We've done everything possible this week to try and get the game on," said club groundsman Des Campbell today (Sat).

"The rain earlier this week was horrendous. But hopefully we'll have some cricket at last. "

It should be a close game with both teams finishing in the top five of the division last summer.

The match sees the debut of Sri Lankan left-arm spinner Sandaken Pathiranan.
