WELLINGTON will be looking to end a run of six successive defeats in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League when they play at home to Torpoint Athletic tomorrow afternoon (Sat).
However, Wellington were able to enjoy a victory earlier this week when they beat Cheddar 4-2 away to reach the quarter-finals of the Somerset Premier League.
Wellington's only win to date in the league was a 1-0 home success against Welton Rovers at the end of September. In losing their last six games they have conceded 27 goals.
Meanwhile, Wellington Reserves will be looking to bounce back after their 6-0 drubbing at Newtown when they play away to University 3rds in the first division of the Devon & Exeter League.
The students are unbeaten and have dropped only two points in their opening six matches..
Wellington A, lyng third in Division One of the Taunton Saturday League, are home to Nether Stowey, while Wellington Reds are away to Stowey's second team in Division Two.
In the Somerset Women's League on Sunday, Wellington Wildcats are home to Sydenham Rangers in the first division (2p.m.), while Wellington Ladies are away to Bridgwater VPR Vixens in Division Two South.
