WELLINGTON Town can stretch their lead at the top of South Division in the Western Counties Floodlit Youth Football League if they beat struggling Winscombe away tonight (Tues).

Wellington, who never won a game last season, are two points clear of second-placed Cheddar who are not in action tonight.

Wellington were the first side to beat Cheddar when the sides played each other at the end of last month.

Despite their vast improvement this season, Wellington's management team of Joe Conway and Andy Govier have announced they will be stepping down in April.

It was always their intention they would run the side for two seasons.
