WELLINGTON missed out on a chance of going top of South Division in the Western Counties Floodlit Youth League when they lost 1-0 at home to Yeovil Town last night (Tues).

Yeovil, playing their first match of the season in the competition, won the game with a goal after an hour's play.

Wellington had as much possession as their opponents and looked the more likely side to score towards the end. A draw would have been fairer result.

Wellington, who remain top scorers in the division, have slipped to third in the competition. Their next game is sway to leaders Chard Town on October 31.
