WELLINGTON have swooped to sign two young players with neighbours Bishops Lydeard.

They are Josh Lukins, 21, a central midfield player, and Josh Hayman, 20, a six foot five defender.

"Both have experience at playing at Western League level and we feel both are ready to step up," said Wellington's assistant player-manager Jack Porter today.

Both players will be included in Wellington's squad to play at Shepton Mallet in the Toolstation League tomorrow (Tues).

"We have been slow to sign on new players because we have been looking at quite a few," added Porter.

"The lads showed plenty of fight and determination at Helston on Saturday and that's what we are looking for in players. They didn't want to get beat. In the past we would have lost that game 2-0 down at half time."
