WELLINGTON went down 5-1 away to Brislington in a football friendly last night - their third warm-up game of the summer.

Nico Cottle netted Wellington's goal in the 28th minute to make it 2-1 - which was the half time score.

Wellington will be in action again tomorrow evening (Thurs) when they play at Bishops Lydeard in a rearranged match.

They end a hectic spell of three games in five days with an away game at Bishops Sutton on Saturday.

Wellington's opening match in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League is away to Helston Athletic on Saturday, July 29. The following Tuesday they play at Shepton Mallet.
