WELLINGTON, without the likes of skipper Danny Lee and Cam Venn, went down to a disappointing 26-15 home defeat in Regional Two South West this afternoon,

Burnham, with only two wins this season and already relegated, were the better side, particularly in the first half.

Without the influential Lee to drive them on, Wellington spent most of the opening 40 minutes in their own half.

Burnham led 14-5 at half time - and deservedly so - and went on to gain a deserved victory.

Ash Harney (2) and Callum Warren scored tries for Wellington who have completed their league programme.
