WELLINGTON Petanque Club played their first-ever match against Blagdon Village Boules Club from Taunton on their terrain at The Basins.

Each team had three pairs who played each pair from the opposing team and Wellington ran out winners. Both teams played some excellent shots and the occasion was enjoyed by everyone, despite some early wet weather.
