HEAD instructors Rob Walsh and Elaine Farley have announced the grand opening of their Tai Chi & Martial Arts Studio at West Buckland later this month.

Tai Chi is an ancient art often described as "moving meditation." It combines slow, deliberate movements with deep breathing and focused intention. Whether you are looking to reduce chronic stress, improve your balance, or simply find a peaceful escape from modern day life, Tai Chi offers a gentle yet powerful path to wellness.

Rob said: “We have designed our space to be a calm, welcoming environment where students of all ages and fitness levels can thrive. We offer a variety of classes tailored to your lifestyle, including courses for beginners, advanced form practices, and specialized low-impact sessions for seniors.

“Every class is led by certified, instructors who are dedicated to helping you master the fundamentals at your own pace. You will learn traditional Yang-style forms, Qigong breathing techniques, and practical tools that you can carry with you long after you leave the mat.
