PHOTOGRAPHER Tony Lawrence, from Moonta Bay, South Australia, found the cygnets at the Basins had gone on a ‘road trip’ blocking traffic when he visited the area during his stay in Wellington. He said a woman who lived nearby went for some bread and lured the young birds back to the water. The cygnets are pictured in the road and on the water.
