TWO Wellington-based firms are among the finalists in this year’s Somerset Business Awards.
Somerdale International has been nominated in the Best Use of Technology and Medium Business of the Year categories. PRM Waste Systems has been nominated in the Medium Business of the Year category.
This year is the 15th anniversary of the awards, run annually by Somerset Chamber of Commerce, and judges had to whittle down a record-breaking number of entries for the final at the Winter Gardens Pavilion in Weston-super-Mare on Friday, October 25. Somerset cricket all-rounder Peter Trego will host the evening.
Somerset Chamber chief executive Stephen Henagulph said: “It was great to see so many entries from both Chamber members and non-members from all corners of the county and representing a wide range of sectors and industries. These awards are the largest in Somerset and are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate all that is great about our diverse business community and I’m looking forward to the grand final next month.”
