A GROUP of students from Court Fields School were taken on a trip to St Ives, Cornwall, over the October half term break.

Students started the trip with a visit to the Eden Project, where they explored biomes and exhibits that are displayed by the educational charity.

The following day, students would then head out for a surf lesson before later engaging in experimental mark making, where students explored texture, gesture, and spontaneity, using the surrounding landscape as inspiration.

The next morning featured a photography walking tour led by Chris Webber Photography, who shared expert tips on maximising natural light in compositions.

The trip culminated in a cyanotype workshop, where students created striking blue-toned prints using natural and UV light.
