THE 22nd Nynehead Village Annual Flower Show took place on August 8 hosted by the Nynehead Garden Club.

The exceptional weather may have depleted the number of entries but judges still had plenty to deliberate over.

The show attracted a good number of entrants and visitors alike.

Despite depleted entries across all fruit, vegetable and flowers categories due to the excessive heat, judges Ian Johnson, Dr F E Burroughes, Christine Wombwell, and Andrea Stout found much to admire.

Residents from Nynehead Court in Wellington also paid the show a visit scooping prizes in the process.

The manager at Nynehead Court, Kim Horton, said: “Thank you to everyone in the village for such a warm welcome, and to the Garden Club for putting together such a successful and enjoyable event.”
