A short-lived town centre business has officially dissolved almost two years after it ceased trading.

Kafee Klatsch opened in the High Street in April, 2022, before suddenly shutting up shop just a few weeks later, with catering equipment left behind. It was the third bakery across the Somerset and Devon area run by husband and wife Ryan and Roseanne Bolesky.

Companies House suspended strike off action against the company in May 2023, after Mr and Mrs Bolesky lodged an objection with the registrar. That suspension appears to have now expired as the company was stricken from the register on November 11 and formally dissolved on November 21.

The building, which is on the corner of High Street and South Street, has been accused of becoming an 'eyesore' by Wellington Town Councillor Zoe Barr, after weeds began to grow from an upstairs building over the summer.

A 'for sale' sign remains visible in the storefront, but it is unclear if there is any active work underway to sell the property.

Ryan and Roseanne Bolesky could not be reached for comment.
