A charity dedicated to reducing violence through education and community engagement, is hosting a lively Charity Ceilidh in Bradford on Tone this October.

Stand Against Violence is hoping to raise funds to support delivery of their violence‑prevention workshops.

Hambledon Hopstep Band is providing live music while an expert caller will be putting dancers through their paces, guaranteeing a fun experience for all.

Ethic Street Pizza will be providing food, alongside a fully stocked bar and raffle packed with prizes.

Stand Against Violence is supported by local partners Ballantine Wealth Management and Walpole Dunn Accountants, whose sponsorship helps make the event possible.

Event organiser at Stand Against Violence, Hannah Palmer, said: “Our Charity Ceilidh is a chance for people to come together, have fun, and support work that makes a difference to people’s lives.

“Every ticket sold helps us deliver more workshops which give young people the tools to stay safe, make positive choices, and build kinder communities.”

“Having attended last year’s event and seen first-hand the enthusiasm and community spirit behind it, we were keen to become more involved.

The Ceilidh takes place on Friday, October 9 from 7 pm to 11 pm at the Waterside Country Barn in Bradford on Tone.
