WELLINGTON Choral Society are holding a 'Come and Sing Event' on Saturday, July 19.
From 10am until 1pm, attendees will have a chance to sing with the society and to try out some of the pieces that will be rehearsed in September, including Brittan, Handel and Brahms.
The taster will take place at Wellington Prep School, and attendees are asked to bring their own drink. Cake will be provided.
Wellington Choral Society is an amateur choir, officially established in 1940 but with its roots in the mid-nineteenth century. It comprises around 80 members, predominantly from the town and surrounding parishes, and performs two main concerts each year, in late November and late March.
