ELVIS fans are invited to an evening dedicated to the rock ’n roll legend at Rumwell Farm Shop near Wellington at the end of this month.
Elvis impersonator Barry Paull will take to the stage in the award-winning farm shop’s Rumwell Orchard event space on Friday, May 30, from 7pm.
Rumwell Farm shop partner Sophie Mitchell said: “We’re inviting people to put on their ‘blue suede shoes’, bring their friends, colleagues and go ‘wild in the country’ at our special Elvis night.
“Elvis, who changed the musical landscape for a generation, was arguably the most well-known and loved rock ’n roll singer of all-time with his hundreds of hits spanning from the 1950s to the 1970s.
“Our evening celebration features Somerset’s very own super talented Elvis impersonator Barry Paull, who will be belting out the hits and giving us those famous rubber-legged moves.”
Tickets must be booked online via the farm shop’s website at www.rumwellfarmshop.com/elvis-tribute-night-friday-may-30-2025/ and are priced at £25 per person.
Sophie added: “The price includes a hot supper featuring traditional US staples like cheeseburgers using our own farm Aberdeen Angus beef, crispy chicken strips, coleslaw and French fries.
“Vegetarians will be served a vegetarian burger topped with cheddar, halloumi strips, French fries and coleslaw. Gluten Free and vegan options are available on request, please notify us when booking. There will also be a licensed bar.
“If you or any member of your party has any special dietary requirements, please make sure you select these on the booking page. Allergen-free versions of dishes will be made to order and must be pre-ordered, as our kitchen in unable to make them on the day.”
