THE Wellington based charity Reminiscence Learning are inviting locals to the launch of their new fundraising support group - ‘Friends of RL’.

Taking place at the charity’s Hamlands premises from 10.30am on Friday, February 7, the gathering will celebrate the new Friends of RL community and the vital role that they play in supporting those living with dementia and their carers.

As well as a means to generate essential funds, Friends of RL hopes to create a caring community dedicated to making a difference.

A representative of the charity said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for supporting people who are living with dementia.”
