QUIZ enthusiasts are being encouraged to sign up for Rumwell Farm Shop’s autumn charity quiz and supper evening to help fundraise for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

The Farm Shop has been raising money for the charity throughout the year and is hosting the event to support the 2nd Heli Appeal.

During the evening there will also be a fundraising raffle featuring a selection of great prizes donated by the Farm Shop, along with its suppliers and friends. All money raised from the raffle will be donated directly to the charity.

Rumwell Farm Shop partner, Sophie Mitchell, said: “Our quiz evenings are always brilliant fun and promise an evening filled with plenty of laughter as well as lots of friendly competition.

“Anyone keen to take part can gather a team together of up to eight people and book online through our website.

“The team with the highest score on the night will get to lift our coveted Rumwell Cup and will also receive prizes.”

The air ambulance service was the Farm Shop’s chosen charity throughout 2025 and continues to be in 2026 after the unveiling of plans to expand its life-saving service to a second helicopter.

Sophie added: “Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance does an incredible job caring for people in their hour of need and we are delighted to continue supporting the charity.

“When we heard about the charity’s ambitious plans to purchase a second helicopter, we felt it was important to keep helping them raise funds.

“Every ticket purchased and every raffle ticket sold will contribute towards supporting their vital work.”

Tickets for the quiz on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 7 pm cost £23 per person for a two-course supper, including a £1 quiz entry fee.

Tables must be booked online in advance.
