A CAR driver was rescued by fire crews when the vehicle overturned as it was towing an animal trailer in Wiveliscombe.
The Isuzu pick-up truck ended up lying on its near side in the single-vehicle incident in Ford Road on Sunday afternoon, March 23.
Firefighters from the Wiveliscombe station attended the crash scene along with a crew from Taunton Fire Station.

The crews quickly went to work to stabilise the vehicle and provide casualty care to the driver, who was the only occupant.
Hydraulic tools were used to remove the windscreen to allow the casualty to be taken out and handed over to paramedics for medical care.
There was no information available on the driver’s condition, although he was not thought to have been badly injured.
